On Tuesday, April 2, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity baseball team travelled to Dallas, Texas to take on the Shelton Chargers for game one of their series. Taking the mound for the Mustangs was senior Connor Jarzombek who ended up pitching a complete game shutout and only allowed four hits and zero runs, striking out five and walking one. The Mustangs quickly got on the board in the third inning when junior Judd Witte grounded out, scoring one run. Senior Jarzombek and Jax Marshall each collected two hits on the day. Marshall also stole three bases. Ultimately, the Chargers could not answer back as the Mustangs took the win with the final score being 1-0.
