Senior Tucker Scott lines up with his opponent.

On Saturday February 3, the McKinney Christian Academy Wrestling team faced off with many other teams at the Prep State meet at Cornerstone Christian Academy in San Antonio. This competition helps the athletes get ready for their state competition later in the year. Senior Tucker Scott performed the best out of the team, and ended off the day with a record of 2-2. When asked about the competition, freshman Corey Sizemore said, “We didn’t perform the best today, but it was important for the team to get some game-time experience in and that’s what we did.”

The team’s next meet TAPPS State will be on Saturday, February 17 at Liberty Christian School.
